Wikidata:WikiProject Albania/National Library of Albania

The project aims to facilitate the dissemination of valuable cultural and literary information by importing data of authors and their books from the National Library of Albania to Wikidata, a collaborative knowledge base that empowers data sharing and linking across various platforms. This endeavor seeks to enrich and expand the Wikidata database with information about Albanian authors and their literary works, ultimately contributing to the global accessibility of Albanian literary heritage.

Key Objectives:

1. Data Extraction: The project will involve the extraction of structured data from the National Library of Albania's digital catalog, encompassing details about authors, their biographies, bibliographies, and books.
2. Data Transformation: The extracted data will be transformed into a standardized format suitable for Wikidata's requirements. This involves mapping data fields to Wikidata properties and ensuring data quality.
3. Wikidata Integration: The transformed data will be integrated into Wikidata, where new items and properties may need to be created to accommodate specific Albanian authors and books.
4. Data Enrichment: Efforts will be made to enhance the Wikidata entries with additional information, such as images, links to external sources, and authoritative references.
5. Continuous Maintenance: Regular updates and maintenance of the Wikidata entries will be undertaken to keep the information current and accurate.

There around 450000 version, edition or translation (Q3331189), a part of them are part of Wikidata, missing books will be checked and inserted with all posible data.
