Motivation[edit]

Web of Science uses a unique identifier for each academic work. --Pablo Busatto (talk) 20:39, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

  1. Limit the property to Web of Science Core only, which is the status quo
  2. Add WOS: prefix to all IDs and also allow IDs from other databases, but 1. one article will have more than one IDs and 2. the formatter only works for articles indexed in WOS Core or DRCA (regardless of the prefix used), and will not work for other entries.

@GZWDer: It definitely shouldn't include INSPEC. I'd limit it to WOS/Web of Science Core (your option 1). ArthurPSmith (talk) 15:24, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I have added a notice in the property.--GZWDer (talk) 15:29, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
