Motivation[edit]
Modeling data in Wikidata, using Symptom Ontology as an example. The disease ontology which is sourced in Wikidata has links to symptoms through the symptom ontology. By supporting adding Symptom Ontology identifiers we will be able to link diseases to the respective symptoms. The Symptom Ontology comes with a CC0 license and as such is eligble for inclusion in Wikidata. This identifier is to expand the disease information sourced from the Disease Ontology (Q5282129).
