Motivation[edit]
A great and large resource of biographies of university teachers and students who were expulsed from the University of Vienna or suffered other hardships by Nazi oppression. Since the University of Vienna was a large and renowned university, it also provides a lot of useful information about scholars who could flee Nazi oppression (and had a career in the US or other countries). However, it also contains a lot of information on Shoah victims.
