Motivation[edit]
This is the main platform used for video-on-demand offering in various french libraries (for example, the library of Évreux (Q171800) is on https://evreux.mediatheques.fr/, the one of Hendaye (Q191754) is on https://mediaenligne.mediatheques.fr/, etc). Having that as a external ID allow to connect the offering of libraries to richer metadata, permit to verify information wrt to release on the french market, and allow to create various queries on what can be streamed from a library (minus the fact that libraries have different offering).
The platform also provides online comics and books, but I am mostly interested in the movie part of the platform. None the less, the proposal would work for both, hence the notification for 2 projects. The website can be accessed without login, so it wouldn't be too hard to scrape it for matching later (or just ask for a CSV to them, or ask to a libary the said CSV).
There is around 17000 movies according to the interface, but there is no counter for books/comics, I estimated that at 112 000 as there is around 5600 pages, each showing 20 items. There is likely duplicates.
A 2nd property could be created for the various artists listed there (for example, matching Céline Sciamma (Q461350) with her page), and this would help verifying movies/books/etc on Wikidata between items, among others.
