Hi Nicolas, I don't really get your revert on Q3452216 because I was tempted to merge these, but then decided that one is a village center inside the township of the other one. The other one is Q5604828. As far as I can tell, there is no item for the neighborhood of New York City which is also called Greenwich. I suspect something got mixed up and one was supposed to be the bustling city neighborhood. Anyhow there shouldn't be two separate things that are the same (if they are the same). I will leave it to you to figure out why you reverted, because I don't see why one part can't be inside the other township.

I'm not familiar with this case, I can't really decide for sure but it looks like that Greenwich (Q3452216) and Greenwich (Q5604828) are two different concepts (the first indeed being a village located in the second). Anyway, merge is impossible since there is two articles on several Wikipedia (you may want to take a look at them).
« I don't see why one part can't be inside the other township. » indeed I would tend to agree, but that's not what you entered. You said that the village was located in the same village itself (Q3452216 P131 Q3452216). Maybe you just selected the wrong item?
For information, it almost never make sense to do a self-referencing saying that something is part of itself (except for some very rare exceptions like in fiction where a time-traveler is its own father), hence why I routinely removed such obvious mistake (and correct them if I can but that is much more harder than just removing the mistake).
For the neighborhood of New York City, are you talking about Greenwich Village (Q205380)?

Thanks! I guess I got mixed up between human settlement and town - I made the first part of the second. Funny that Greenwich Village is now called that in NYC, but of course it used to be just Greenwich, kind of the same size as the Connecticut Greenwich, which is closer to it than the other Greenwich in NY state. Weird how many Greenwich's there are in the USA! Never noticed that before.
Could you please take a look at this Q118104845 which was incorrectly merged by a new user who I believe is French speaking. I responded on his/her userpage, but so far no difference in reverting the changes. Thanks for your contributions!

Hello,we have talked about lexemes in the past, and therefore I'm now turning to you for advice. You may have seen my recent question on the Lexigographical data discussion page onthe aforementioned subject. I think this is an area that deserves better attention in order to establish more useful links between the lexemes and Wikibase items. Adpositions constitute a well-defined subset of words inmany languages, and it would be good for the lexicographic project if we could establish a best current practice for how to document their senses. I'm a little disappointed that I haven't received any feedback on my proposal on the discussion page. Can you please tell m ewhether I'm going about this proposal in an inapprpriaete way. Do you yourself have an opinion on my proposal? If so, i'd be happy to learn about it.--~~~~

We are a group of researchers from King’s College London working on developing WQT (Wikidata Quality Toolkit), which will support a diverse set of editors in curating and validating Wikidata content.
We are inviting you to participate in an online workshop aimed at understanding the requirements for designing effective and easy-to-use user interfaces (UI) for three tools within WQT that can support the daily activities of Wikidata editors: recommending items to edit based on their personal preferences, finding items that need better references, and generating entity schemas automatically for better item quality.
The main activity during this workshop will be UI mockup sketching. To facilitate this, we encourage you to attend the workshop using a tablet or laptop with PowerPoint installed or any other drawing tools you prefer. This will allow for a more interactive and productive session as we delve into the UI mockup sketching activities.
Participation is completely voluntary. You should only take part if you want to and choosing not to take part will not disadvantage you in any way. However, your cooperation will be valuable for the WQT design. Please note that all data and responses collected during the workshop will be used solely for the purpose of improving the WQT and understanding editor requirements. We will analyze the results in an anonymized form, ensuring your privacy is protected. Personal information will be kept confidential and will be deleted once it has served its purpose in this research.

C'est corrigé, tu avais juste mis le lien sur le mauvais élément (celui de la page d'homonymie Q9054016 au lieu de celui de l'acteur du même nom Pablo Podestá (Q5549272)), rien de bien grave (les homonymies c'est toujours piégeux).

. Le site de l’Ethnopôle GARAE (Q116471380) est très utile pour rédiger des articles et des fiches (biographie et bibliographie). Penses-tu qu’il serait judicieux d’en faire une propriété sur wd puis une base sur wp (chaque fiche a un identifiant stable et unique) ?

They are not the same because they're identical. There is no difference because no difference is possible between one item only.
The property réputé identique à (P460) is used to link together 2 similar but different items. Here you used only one item (Jaber (Q21450304)) and you link it to itself, this is wrong and the reason for my revert.
"Self-reference" (sometime called "autoreference", "circular reference" or "reference cycle") has nothing to do with references/sources. It's just the act of referring to itself.

Je ne suis pas le seul francophone mais merci du compliment :D
La propriété ayant été marque comme "prête", il n'y a plus rien à attendre si ce n'est qu'une personne avec les droits de création de propriété passe (mais il y a un peu d'embouteillage dans la création des propriétés en ce moment :/ désolé du contretemps). Techniquement, je pourrais le faire moi-même mais étant un des rares votants, je préfère m'abstenir (au moins pour le moment, je vais aller créer d'autres propriétés cela résorbera en partie les créations en attente).
